Nelson Home Cooking Classes

I offer a series of inspirational cooking classes for the home cook.  Classes are built around fresh, seasonal, local produce and are influenced by the various cuisines from around the world that I have enjoyed on my travels.  All classes offer a "hands-on" experience for participants, at the end of which you will share a meal of the food you have created or will have goodies to take home.  Classes are held in my home kitchen in Nelson, New Zealand, and are limited to eight people.

Some classes will focus on a particular seasonal theme or style of cuisine;  e.g. Greek, Spanish, Italian, Moroccan, Indian, Quintessential Summer, Let's Do Brunch.  In each of these classes we will prepare a 3 or 4 course meal.  Participants will work in groups, with each group preparing and cooking one of the courses.  At the end we will sit down to dine on the meal we have created with a glass of wine.  A great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new friends, or come along with a group of old friends for a great night out.

Other classes will focus on specific skill building techniques, such as cheese making, the art of curing, sausage making, pates and terrines, or pasta making.
